Pump House & Tank Car Loading Stand
Hyde Pulp Mill
This is one of the older buildings that survived the fire. It still has the shake roof, and as long as it does not leak, has not been scheduled for newer shingles. Pumps inside this small structure pull water from the river and send it to the boiler house and main building.

In addition, pumps move the turpentine from the storage tank into the tank cars. The loading stand was built a few years ago to make this task a bit easier. Prior to that, a man had to drag a hose up the side of tank car.
