Turpentine Tank
Hyde Pulp Mill
Since turpentine is a by-product of the pulping process, and a marketable product, a storage tank was built to hold it. About once a week or so, a three-dome tank car - only one section of the car is needed - arrives to pick up the turpentine and move it to Frost Chemical Co.

While it looks small next to the mill, the tank is seventeen feet high. Mr. Hyde heard that the new aluminum paint helped seal old tanks, so the tank recently received a coat.
